Annie's Ramblings 3 February, 2016
Hey there, another week has whizzed by, the kids are back at school and we are into February already!
No time for mucking around….this week we have a special on the large pieces (18” x 13”) of the hand dyed and felted Wooly Lady wool fabrics. These are now $25.00 each (normally $30.00), making it a good time to stock up for your Sue Spargo projects.
I also thought I would show you these beautifully made stencilled frames from Rosalie Dekker (Quinlan) that have just arrived in. These can be used as is or stained or painted ready for your favourite stitcheries to feature in the centre. The larger snowflake design is $19.50 and the doily frame is $18.00.
Our regular weekly classes have started again this week, and some of the ladies have been very busy over the Christmas break. Check out Patsy’s progress on her Colmar quilt on Annie’s Facebook page – it is looking stunning!
I will be heading south in a couple of weeks’ time to Poolburn in Central Otago to teach a weekend class (20-21 February) focusing on foundation piecing and sewing circles and curves. There is a picture and some more information on the class page of the website. Everyone is welcome to attend the class and of course I will be taking ‘the shop’ as well.
I have to say I have not really had much time for cooking this week, but these burger patties are delicious with a fresh salad or in a burger with the caramelised onions from last week’s newsletter.

- 250 g fresh chorizo sausages (skins removed)
