Hi there. Well...it is hard to believe that the year is nearly done. This is the last Annie’s Ramblings for this year and I would like to say a huge “Thank you” for your support and friendship over the past year. We wouldn’t be here without you!

Finally back in stock we have the extra-large Bernina Trolley bag for the larger 7 series machines. Because of their bulk they are expensive to ship and they are not brought into the country very often...so if you need one, now is the time (especially as they are also included in the sale at this time!)

This week’s recipe is a good for those drinks and nibbles type occasions when a little festive grazing is in order!

Christmas Nut Mix

• 1 egg white
• 2 tbsp caster sugar
• 2 tsp ground cumin
• 1 ½ tsp flaky sea salt
• ½ tsp cayenne pepper
• ½ tsp smoked paprika
• 3 c natural almonds
• 1 ½ cups raw cashews
• 200 g pretzels

Preheat the oven to 180C. Line a large tin or meat dish with baking paper. Beat the egg white, sugar and spices until soft pea. Add the nuts and coat well before turning them out into the tin and spreading them in a single layer. Bake for about 30 minutes, checking and turning them regularly. Cool. Add the pretzels and an extra sprinkling of salt if desired. Store in an airtight container.
